1 ) 再见 Martha
第三季开头，martha一如既往的全力以赴为客户辩论，不断的找寻着客户无罪的证据。到了帮助恐怖袭击的学生的那个案子，在martha的帮助下，学生最终成功的没有被引渡到美国，相当于not guilty。最后clive告诉martha,那个学生确实帮助了恐怖袭击，在空旷的大厅里，martha呆看着学生离开。觉得那个时候martha的心里有东西在慢慢的倒塌。
然后最后一个案子，帮助前男友，在法庭上不断的发现前男友的谎言。他们回忆起来都会笑的情话，原来不仅仅是属于她，被他说给很多别的女生听。在这个案子里，martha真的不是原来的martha了，她不再冷静，完全没有找不到突破口。即使认为前男友是无罪的，但是又在发现预订周围房间的名字都是高中同学后，慌乱的跑出去吸烟听歌，试图镇定下来。
在这个案子中，martha拥有的东西在一件一件的失去，billy癌症的扩散， clive的渣， 然后前男友被判有罪。最后发现因为自己的失误，遗漏了关键的证据，导致无罪的前男友有罪，之前很多次帮助有罪的客户得到无罪的结果，却让真正无罪的在乎的人被判有罪。
martha说的最后一个台词是 Who am I, 之后是她离开鞋巷， 沉默的走在大街上。最后martha听到billy喊的“miss”,回头。之后在billy&jack看来，martha就这样消失了。

一部剧能够成功不仅需要情节的推进 主角的表现 台词的雕琢 很大程度上需要配角的支撑 比如这一集的CW 本来没什么表演（32‘）但是白色窗帷吹拂着 她put the exact date when she lost her chance for motherhood 作为QC 还需要怎么样的drama 怎样的表演呢？
和韩剧相比 英剧真是太简练了 不需要街拍一样的秀服装 每一帧都在推动情节 （48’）比如Ruby看着Shoe Lane 而Marsha从反方向走过来 被告知David losing himself的事实 而dad又恰巧走过来 不难猜测Rudy需要怎样的勇气来告诉他这个残酷的事实 哎……
副线Billy的情节也很灵动 真是内容丰富！

silk这一季隔太久，我都忘了上一集在讲什么。这一季的中心很明显了——在最后十五分钟，托米奇之口——不管是警察还是律师都太迫于让自己所相信的观点被认可，真相反而被掩盖；整个法律体系在输与赢得争斗中失去其原本的意义，最好赶快逃出去。
尚有余温的legal high试图告诉我们，律师并不是侦探，律师的职责不是所谓追求真相，而是帮助委托人赢得胜利；而本剧则反思律师们是不是太在意输赢，反而忽视了最重要的”真相“？这样看来，也许是有趣的平衡。
让我们假设，宇宙中存在某种至高无上的神智（或者某种高度发达的文明所建立的律法条例，对于无神论的同学们），可以精准巧妙又恰如其分地为每一件事做出”正直“的判断。那么，有了这份”绝对正确的判定“，我们人类的任务就是无限接近它：
首先，承认人的智能是无法达到这个高度的，因此我们编造出”法则“，让规则来代替”人心“，提供更可靠、恒定、强壮的结论；
然后，条例无法自动执行（也许某种高等文明发明了”判例机“可以LOL），因此我们需要人来解释条例以匹配千千万万情况各异的事件；
再然后，对于不同人的解释我们需要有一个判定，鉴于没有任何个体能够确保完全的正确，那么我们交由一个群体来做出判断；
最后，对于整个”法则系统“的运行，要有一个人得以从近似管理员但实际不干预结果的偏向性（而不是不干预结果）来确保这套系统的正确运转。
于是我们有了（各种律政剧里看到的）法律体系。
那么就很清楚了：不管是追求输赢还是追求正义，律师们和警察们一起在努力，从两个方向出发、利用平衡巧妙地接近所谓”绝对真理“。那么不管是李狗嗨还是丝绸，所提倡的结果是一样的：让”人们“更了解这个系统是如何工作的，从而保证这一体系的正确运行。对于追求输赢的，努力跳脱出判定输赢的规则，尝试以真相而不是判决书判定正义是否得到伸张；对于追求正义的，也记着并不是自己——而是包含了自己的整个系统——的努力，才让真相得以获得最妥善的对待。
如果是这样，我还能说服自己为什么你国的法律体系选择了由法官而不是陪审团作出判决：那些口口声声喊着”人民“的人，他们其实清楚地知道，我们的”人民“还远不够资格为自己、为他人做出判定。（不服气吗？翻出你的租房合同，看看它包含了你实际遇到的情况的百分之多少？）

当然我也仅仅是猜测。整个宇宙有着漫长的过去以及总有终结的未来，也许并不在意中间某个渺小星球上转瞬即逝的文明罢了。所谓“绝对正义”，也不过是因为相信“总有方法让人们更好地活下去“而成立的。
但你总要相信点什么，不是吗。

4 ) 真的结束了嘛（别再拍续集了）
不知道为什么一直到现在才看，像小时候总爱把好吃的留到最后。
前面几集快要看不下去，所有人连Martha都变的那么不professional，只剩下老Billy还是熟悉的。看评论都在说第六集怎样怎样好，所以还是期待着看到最后，看到Martha 职业信仰的崩溃，很感人，很深思，但是还是怀念第一季那个坚信innocent util proven guilty ，一抹鲜艳口红，深夜就着啤酒看卷，戴墨镜开保时捷的Martha。
有信仰是一件幸福的事情，为了信仰而工作是一种幸运。第6集之前的Martha，身上一直散发着这样一种光彩，她不是没有过迷茫，可是每次她都能说服自己，继续为client 而 fight， 她的信仰是如此的坚定，以至于即便是到了第6集，即便是她独自一人站在桥上，我仍然相信她会理一理头发，补上些口红，重新走回chamber。真的就是这么结束了吗？
可是留下来做什么呢，shoe lane已经没有她的位置，Billy也无法再保护她，Clive也终于和Harriat正式合作了。
其实Martha是一个挺理想化的形象吧，除了有时选择性忽略client可能有罪的事实（这些本来就应该是辩护律师的职责），以及违反规则为自己的前男友辩护之外，她几乎是没有污点的。不像那个不靠谱的Clive又是要偷偷换所，又是向法庭隐瞒证据什么的，而且不管是pupil、solicitor还是clerk只要是长得不错的女滴都要来一下。也正是因为Martha是一个理想化的形象，才会发生信仰的崩溃吧，如果因为永远没有真正的truth就受不了，大概是个律师都得崩溃了吧。真正的事实永远不能被发现，只有法律事实，这就是程序法存在的价值所在，这是和无罪推定原则一样基本的法理。所以说到底，Martha姑娘就是变了，一点都不professional!

这个Harriat是哪里冒出来的呀，怎么那么讨人厌，一天到晚嫌人家歧视女性，跟BIlly大吼那一出完全看不懂，她自己先让人家Billy滚回家的，BIlly就为自己辩解了一下，怎么就变成欺负她了，为了Amy义愤填膺嘛，那么跟Clive又是哪一出呀，Billy只是说她跟Clive调情她就蹦了，怎么直接在chamber里就上了？这是示威的意思嘛。貌似她的律所的全部工作就是孤立Billy以及拉拢clive，除了一个Nicola，再没看她弄来别的案源了。shoelane怎么弄了这样一个人来呀。
然后说这个Amy，简直就是无力吐槽呀，她的职场里除了调情没有其他东西了？动不动就投诉的无知少女都能进chamber，Niamh和NIck情何以堪……话说第一季里每个配角都好有戏，到第三季就只剩Martha和Billy了。Clive更加是boring，整个一集都在犹犹豫豫，一点么有silk的样子，被说是傻dolphine真没错。
前面几集快要看不下去，所有人连Martha都变的那么不professional，只剩下老Billy还是熟悉的。看评论都在说第六集怎样怎样好，所以还是期待着看到最后，看到Martha 职业信仰的崩溃，很感人，很深思，但是还是怀念第一季那个坚信innocent util proven guilty ，一抹鲜艳口红，深夜就着啤酒看卷，戴墨镜开保时捷的Martha。
有信仰是一件幸福的事情，为了信仰而工作是一种幸运。第6集之前的Martha，身上一直散发着这样一种光彩，她不是没有过迷茫，可是每次她都能说服自己，继续为client 而 fight， 她的信仰是如此的坚定，以至于即便是到了第6集，即便是她独自一人站在桥上，我仍然相信她会理一理头发，补上些口红，重新走回chamber。真的就是这么结束了吗？
可是留下来做什么呢，shoe lane已经没有她的位置，Billy也无法再保护她，Clive也终于和Harriat正式合作了。
其实Martha是一个挺理想化的形象吧，除了有时选择性忽略client可能有罪的事实（这些本来就应该是辩护律师的职责），以及违反规则为自己的前男友辩护之外，她几乎是没有污点的。不像那个不靠谱的Clive又是要偷偷换所，又是向法庭隐瞒证据什么的，而且不管是pupil、solicitor还是clerk只要是长得不错的女滴都要来一下。也正是因为Martha是一个理想化的形象，才会发生信仰的崩溃吧，如果因为永远没有真正的truth就受不了，大概是个律师都得崩溃了吧。真正的事实永远不能被发现，只有法律事实，这就是程序法存在的价值所在，这是和无罪推定原则一样基本的法理。所以说到底，Martha姑娘就是变了，一点都不professional!
所以现在开始吐槽：

5 ) Billy是英国人的情怀所在
Billy让人想起老一辈在对待事业、工作和朋友的方式，有侠义也有暗箱操作，坚强不可摧的外在包裹着一颗铁胆忠心，虽然在时代的潮流下，逐渐被淘汰，换上Harriet这种事事均可与目标利益挂钩的高效运营。不能说谁的做法更好，但剧中明显偏向塑造Billy的高大形象，从而反映出英国人对旧时代和传统的怀念，希望有过去的情怀，可是又被迫面对冷漠的现在，那种复杂的感情是每一个人面对时代交替、甚或年龄渐长时都会有心态，诠释得非常好！
其实我也是Billy的脑残粉，呵呵，原因是忽然看到某些他的举动让我想起老爸，比如即使有很大的苦衷却不愿意与家人分享而独自承担；为你做一件事不论过程有多复杂困难，最终只给你一个圆满的结果；以及几十年来为数不多的一两次看到他的无助……这一切一切让我非常感同身受。
或许一个法律外行看这个剧只能感受到皮毛，但人性本来就是终极哲学，不论哪个行业都有对良心的拷问，只是法庭上、案件中所揭露的人性可能更加直接，因此一直也对多了解一点法律的相关很感兴趣。

6 ) Martha Cestello's Who Am I
Accidentally read a review on Silk. It mentions that the justice procedure of the Law of England & Wales is a procedure based on the theory of truth agnosticism, which means it despises the pursuit of the truth. Thus neither of the prosecution and the defence can regard themselves as equalling to the justice itself. What they perform is just to protect their clients' interests. This is the ultimate justice the law can grant to the beings to protect themselves. That is, innocent until proven guilty.
However, this arouses a controversial debate on barristers' ethical duty. Theoretically, a barrister owes duty of not misleading the court. This duty comes first When they represent their clients to seek for a justice conviction. Therefore a barrister is not allowed to represent the client if he or she has the knowledge of the crime commitment made by the client. Otherwise it will amount to contempt of court. What the barrister can only do in such a situation is to cease the representation relationship to protect the justice of the court. Nonetheless, since the law practice industry is the derivative of current economic demand, most lawyers, usually intend to represent clients and maximise the clients' interests by shunning the truth deliberately. This is the formation of grey area.
Back to the series. Season Three explores what the lawyer and the justice system can do when confronting the truth and humanity. Martha Cestello is built to be a figure of justice. This justice more likely represents the sympathy to the weak side, rather than the pursuit of truth. Just like Martha says the justice (for her) aims to providing best defence for the client. She is always doing her job based on a barrister's intuition and her obsession of the truth. But such a basement could be voidable. The case of extradition proves the voidability of the powerless intuition on her not guilty assumption made to the kid who seems innocent when facing an incontrovertible evidence. Another case is about Martha's ex. When she finds out the name list, she is totally convinced that her ex is the murderer and neglects the most obvious evidence that the murderer is left-hand, but Shawn is not. Because her belief has been a little bit conflicted by the extradition case at that time. It is easily to see her emotional struggling here since she has assured the 'truth' that Shawn is the murderer. But she chooses to represent him continuously even this is an obey to both her belief and the enforced obligation posed on a barrister. At the end of season 3, Micky Joy crushes out the truth, but the court gives the direction of not adopting Joy's testimony since it does not comply with the juridical procedures. This is so ironic. When the trial is finished, Martha has completely lost and asked: who am I.
In the end, Martha's disappearance and Billy's cancer seem to be a metaphor that being symbolic for an era curtain that belief of justice is no longer exist in a contemporary law practice. Clive gets the chairman position only because he can ensure the case amount for Shoe Lane, which turns out that the value of justice has become the value of lawyer fee.
English series are so ironic.

从此世上再无Martha Costello
故事赢了人物。成就和令她迷失的都是执着，抱持对象的差池会是信仰的颠覆，没有坚持到最后就能赢的光环。三年来以为看的是励志剧，结果是揭人生老底，Micky三句话，the manner of going, what we left behind, where are we going afterward在她消失后变成如何执着，带来什么，除了执着我们还剩什么。
Martha这样的女人是绝对不需要男人的，就像Clive睡了别的妹子以后martha也没什么反应，第一季流产一副流就流呗，只有案子输了才会心灰意冷。。。只有billy对Martha才是真爱吧。。。然后这剧就完结了真你妈好伤心啊。。。
3.5；水准下降，与前两季不搭，不仅改变辩论思路，连为人准则也开始发生偏离，曾经完美的Martha在编剧笔下终于露出了破绽；莫名甜蜜的感情线很多余，且让人讨厌；billy的罪名更莫名，为了制造冲突，拉低智商180的天才书记官不可忍；虽惋惜不知他们的结局，幸好也是及时收手了，否则必烂尾。

两个题外话：Clive变QC了之后，直接走暖男路线了...Martha短发之后好漂亮～～～
看过了最后一集，个人觉得真正击倒martha的不是case的败诉也不是clive的两面三刀，而是看着自己一点点累积的希望瞬间垮塌时的心理崩溃，她并非不能接受clive移情别恋，却不能接受自己曾渴望和他天长地久，说到底，她还是孤独的
这样的结尾作为剧终真的处理得太好 不仅把所有线索都理清 而且将法律讲得太透彻 一句“Who am I?”道出所有律师的困惑 律师对正义和真相的坚持到头来还是会被现实击垮 法庭不过是场游戏
Martha and Billy 那些最好的人 却往往最孤独痛苦坚强独立，他们会去想who am I 也会消失在人群中去找寻自己的答案。
最后一集给主角Marsha还有所有热爱这剧的人心头狠狠一击，让所有从S01E01开始积累的对司法/正义/与良心的疑虑倾泻而出，作为最终集真是神结尾。但是从观众角度说...尼玛让我捂着心脏出去缓缓_(:qゝ∠)_ PS.RPJ你简直就是史上最帅克剧男演员
终于等到了第三季，短发的玛莎美得无法形容。
百感交集的结局，这个剧的剧情和人物一样，大方向正确细节上略坑，John小人了整三季，最后终于把持住了，编剧费尽心思给Clive洗白，是为了最后让他人渣到底，Micky说得对，为了争出胜负的有罪还是无辜很无聊，大爷我不陪你玩儿了！
看完最后一集才发现编剧用心良苦

最后一集真是神来之笔，神剧的节奏又上升一个档次，终于肯吐出这么多集来最大的疑问了！！！一方面给人一种终于圆满了的颠沛感，一方面又真想破口大骂：尼玛，下一季又要等到什么时候啊！
最后十分钟力挽前几集感情用事的狂澜，从所谓人性、正义的个人或成功或失败地对抗保守朽化体制的律政剧陈腐叙事模式中抽身，一脚堕入虚无一脚踏进圣殿，成就神作。
最后一集要不要这么狠啊！！看得我难过死了。。。第三集就被Billy叔虐哭，最后一集还要这样把Martha虐到心都死了！编剧这是闹哪样啊！！！前面几集还期待着Clive会变好，结局赤果果的把我们打醒，渣男这种属性是永远不会变好的，一辈子都是渣男！！太心疼Martha了，Run for your life... ⑧
Martha是个理想主义者。如果是索金，大结局会是Martha在事务所竞选中作一个慷慨激昂的关于法律和正义的演讲，接着她讲完后潇洒的甩门出去，在她飘动的发丝和伦敦夜景下黑屏。不过因为她是隐忍的英国人笔下隐忍的人物，于是全局就这么隐忍的结了
不得了，不得了。律政神剧。剧本扎实，根本没有多余的肥皂情节，我是说，连一分钟都没有，不像TVB的律政剧，官司还没打完就一帮人去吃火锅喝啤酒。节奏快得让人不得不全神贯注，稍一走神都会漏掉信息，每一分钟都让人绷紧神经。法庭戏出色，台词也够味！猛推！
女主角收场惨淡。但现实就是这样，随着岁月的流逝，按着后浪推前浪的规律，和你暧昧的精英模板男最后肯定会找比你更年轻更圆滑的姑娘，他还左右逢源会比你混得更轻松更好。事事以你为前提，为你着想的大树男将会因为一些不可抗拒的自然因素无法再做你的靠山。你把工作当信仰，投入所有精力，忘我到牺牲健康甚至生命，N次成功后会有一个大挫折跳出来告诉你这一切都是游戏，别认真到最后连自己是谁都忘了。
